Of course, the real work, application followed. Investing time developing a campaign plan has created both excitement, as well as, a sense of urgency. Successful campaigns don’t just happen – it takes serious time (in planning, preparation and execution), talents (in volunteer and professional staff), and treasures (fundraising is with a “d” – it’s about dollars). I’m thankful that the Tillie Fowler Excellence
in Public Service Series has provided me with a track to run on as I prepare
for future public service opportunities.
