Program Objectives
- To Provide a first-class leadership training
experience on a scholarship basis for outstanding Florida women.
- To encourage, mentor and prepare selected women
leaders to seek new levels of involvement in government and politics.
- To provide participants access to political
and government leaders responsible for candidate recruitment and/or
appointments.
- To establish an active core of highly qualified
women, who are educated and motivated, to assume key roles in
public service.
- To form an effective and diverse statewide political
network for women.

Program Curriculum
The program year comprises either eight monthly day-long
sessions or four two day-long weekend sessions, and a three-day summit
in Washington, D.C. The intensive training curriculum addresses, but
is not limited to, the following topics.
- History of the Republican Party
- Formation of Public policy and Ethics in Government
- The Constitution as the Basis for Government
- Understanding Local, State and Federal Government
- Running a Successful Campaign
- Public Speaking Training
- The Role of Media in Politics
- National Security and the Military
